They strive to offer customers an exceptional shopping experience.The deli & cheese manager is responsible of managing purchases and inventories, provides excellent customer service, and supervises his team. Main responsibilities Develop strategies to increase department sales and profitability Manage procurement, place orders, and ensure sound inventory management Supply products and arrange product layout in the deli store aisle Manage loss prevention (waste, theft, inventory loss, breakage) Monitor product quality, expiry dates, and perform product rotation Mobilize the team to offer quality customer service Ensure sound employee management, prepare work schedules, and approve employee vacations Supervise team production and make sure employees follow work methods and rules Ensure new employee orientation, integration, and training Make sure food safety and hygiene standards and health and safety standards are applied and followed consistently by all employees in the departmentMake sure refrigerators and freezers are clean an at the right temperature Make sure the department is clean and organized Perform department opening and close operations Job requirements Four years of experience in the field Ability to lift heavy loads (40 lbs) Good knowledge of French (Bilingualism will be an asset) Required Profile Sense of organization and priority managementTeamwork and customer service Ability to work quickly and under pressure Note: The use of gendered terms is not intended to discriminate.
