Estimated course enrolment: 45 Class schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-12:00 (online synchronous) Sessional dates of appointment: May 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021 Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $8489.67 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $8869.25 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)Sessional Lecturer II - $9085.58 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE)Sessional Lecturer III - $9301.90 inclusive of vacation pay (0.5 FCE) Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Minimum qualifications: PhD in Linguistics is required, preferably with a background in morphology. Demonstrated excellence teaching university-level Linguistics courses is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience teaching the same or a similar course. Description of duties: Preparation and delivery of course content (online synchronous); development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours.
