The Category Assistant would assist with the following activities: · Assist with transition to SAP, incl. support team adoption of new processes · Building Customer Innovation Presentations concepts · Building Marketing material development Joining the Cones & Wafers category team provides a great opportunity to gain a well- rounded perspective of working in a Category role, obtaining valuable experience working across business team functions including Sales, Finance, and R&D. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES · Core responsibilities of the job o Supporting customer concept brainstorming & presentation materials o Product catalog refresh for multiple channels o Data analytics as needed o Participate in C&W team meetings and ask questions · What success looks like o On time delivery and quality output on projects o Positive integration with the team · Business impact and functions / teams it collaborates with o Category o Sales o Category Finance o Insights o Operations · Headwinds and tailwinds to navigate o Our category has a critical SAP transition in June, requiring reform to a few key processes, and assistance with data to ensure transition without negative customer impact o Bringing innovation to our customers that is relevant and considers COVID impact on consumer behaviors. · Culture and values behaviours expected o Weston Foods remains focused on a culture of respect, integrity and acceptance. ABOUT YOU: · Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, computer science or engineering · Ability to adapt to changing environments, pick up new skills quickly and continuously improve · Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced, team environment · Has the ability and equipment to work virtually · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize large quantities of data · Effective time management and organizational skills · Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment · Strong communication, organizational and documentation skills · Intermediate knowledge of Office365 tools specifically Excel and PowerPoint Skills & Requirements Qualifications Weston is committed to fostering a work environment with strong core values that support diversity through various policies, programs and activities that encourage sensitivity and accommodations.
