My client, a reputable general contractor in Winnipeg, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for providing project leadership and construction expertise for multiple construction projects while overseeing infrastructure life-cycle management within the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. My client is committed to: Promoting a diverse, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment Providing opportunities for career growth and advancement What the Project Manager does: Oversees and coordinates the design, engineering, and drafting requirements for multiple projects Manages labour and material forecasting and purchasing and procurement Creates work schedules and coordinates major projects from beginning to end Prepares project budgets, profit and loss reports, and purchase orders of all ongoing capital and maintenance projects Creates and implements material tracking schedules Assists site supervisors with work schedules, site safety demonstrations, and employee training and orientations What is expected of you: 3 years of experience in project management as an agricultural constructor or general contractor Degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or an equivalent academic combination with practical experience Technical background in agricultural construction (process flow, electrical, mechanical, grain storage, conveyance, etc.) is an asset Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once with minimal supervision Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent organizational skills and a forward-thinking attitude Self-motivated and energetic Strong written and verbal communication skills What you can expect in return: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to work for an established organization committed to promoting a diverse and collaborative work environment
