This includes our market-leading SIP Trunking service, Hosted PBX, Data services, along with a strategic relationship with Microsoft for Teams deployments.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe successful candidate will have proven success in an acquisition-based, solutions selling role in the telecommunication industry. We’re looking for someone that demonstrates great initiative, is service-oriented, and has a hunger to help develop our clients’ businesses. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director the responsibilities will include:KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary focus is to achieve sales and revenue targets as set by management.Work closely with Sales Management team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.Collaborating with Microsoft, and other strategic partners to deliver exceptional client experiences.Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Product Management teams to develop the proposal strategy and solution, in line with client requirements and company standards.Work closely with Sales Management team to communicate and update on funnel status, forecasts, and all relevant client-driven activities.Engage in strategic, long-term relationships with top customers.Ascertain client requirements and propose business solutions that best meet their needs.Actively participate in various telecommunications events to increase company visibility.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE10 + years of experience in a Telecommunications, or related technical field.Proficient with Microsoft Exchange, Office, Skype for Business, CRM.Strong working knowledge of B2B Sales best practices and trends.Working knowledge of Windows. Sound knowledge of IP, and other related protocols.Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.Bilingualism is an asset (English and French).Diversity and inclusion are important at Distributel.
