We are looking for a Parts Clerk to join our growing team! We are looking for someone with drive and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Helping in our Shipping area with inbound shipments, putting stock away and picking parts are the basics of this position, then eventually running parts out to technicians in our 2 mechanical shops to increase Technician efficiency.Your Key ResponsibilitiesInspecting incoming parts for quantity, damage, quality, noting any damage, defects, or wrong part for part number and reporting to Management immediatelyReceipt of order documents and delivery notes from all inbound parts shipmentsEnsure all processes followed for inventory accuracyResponsible for inventory management and controlPicking of parts orders and maintaining documentation of ship outsSorting incoming parts in a timely mannerInforming relevant parties about received parts arrival Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing parts ordersLocating parts onto SOR or regular stocking shelves Assist with any duties related to inventory preparationAssist with physical bin maintenance and parts department housekeepingIntroduce new locations for incoming new stocking part numbersComplete ongoing inventory counts Support and organize the tire storage processOrganize warranty parts in the warranty parts roomMaintenance of the warranty parts return programReceive dirty cores from front and rear parts counters and return regularlyKeep detailed paperwork of outgoing warranty shipmentsOther duties as assignedYour Capabilities and CredentialsCompletion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset.Experience with CDK is considered an asset.A detailed understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory management.A strong sense of flexibility and high energy.Strong organizational and time management skills.A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful.Ability to work individually and as part of a team.High-level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc. Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time.Must possess a valid driver's license and have a safe driving history.
