At University Health Network, the breadth of skills, proud histories and stellar reputations of Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital come together to achieve a common purpose and vision. UHN is among the ranks of the world's leading providers of exemplary patient care and innovative research and teaching.

UHN is a strong believer in Patient Centred Care (PCC); caring for patients by first finding out what their needs and values are - and then tailoring the care we provide to meet those expectations and enhance their experiences while in our care. Everyone in our hospital community is a partner in caring for patients in order to improve upon their experiences, in addition to those around them. The key to PCC is respect for patient's beliefs, values and concerns. As health-care professionals, communication with patients and family members is key to relationships and teamwork.

Our hospitals share a tradition of great outcomes and medical firsts. These traditions will be built upon as we follow our vision of achieving global impact.
