Network + security specialist6 month contract possibility of renewalSUMMARYAs an IT Network Specialist, member of the IT Infrastructure team, you will ensure the proper functioning of IT telecommunications networks at TC.

You will be called upon to participate in the analysis and delivery of various projects, determine the root cause of recurring incidents as well as analyze and respond to service requests.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESMain tasks & responsibilities:
 Ensure the delivery of technological projects that meet business needs: 80%o Carry out the implementation of solutions in collaboration with the stakeholders involved;o Deliver technological solutions that respect security standards;o Carry out knowledge transfer to the service desk and to team members;o Inform and / or train users;o Monitor and produce network infrastructure performance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSEducation
  • Have an undergraduate university degree with a specialization in computer science or information technologies combined with at least 7 years of experience in telecommunications / OR have a college diploma in Electronics Technology, Telecommunications or IT option combined with at least 10 years' experience in telecommunications.
Professional experience Minimum 7 years in telecommunications:
· Good knowledge of routing, switching, network, firewall and wireless network equipment;Professional designation, technical certification or professional cards (ex: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), card to drive a forklift)☐ None☒ Is an asset: Knowledge of CISCO equipment, Fortigate / Forti

Manager / FortiAnalyzer, CCNA certification☐ Is mandatory - please specify:

Professional skills Good knowledge of WAN environments (Ethernet, MPLS and TCP / IP); Good knowledge of LAN environments; Knowledge of wireless network equipment; Knowledge of EIGRP, GRE, BGP and OSPF routing protocols;General skills Sense of autonomy and priorities; Sense of organization; Efficiency under pressure; Customer orientation; Teamwork; Leadership; Critical thinking.
