This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing Employee Plans products for new and existing clients by interfacing with the Client, Counsel, relationship/client servicing team and the operational units. The Project Manager leads the project and ensures that the expectations of the client are met prior to transitioning it to the Relationship Management Team. The Project Manager must be knowledgeable of Computershare's product offerings; ability to discuss best practices; and manages multiple projects at a given time.

Some of your key responsibilities will include :

  • Reviews Plan Documents to gain a thorough understanding of required services to facilitate plan implementations
  • Responsible for facilitating and planning the overall delivery of project components with internal, 3rd party and client stakeholders to ensure implementation milestones are met to onboard clients.
  • Ability to work and speak professionally with all levels of customers both internal and external such as attorneys, CEO's, CFO's, Senior Managers, Sales Team, etc.
  • Monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders and presents report(s) defining project progress, problems and solutions to management on a frequent basis.
  • Interprets and performs a thorough review of the required documents prior to commencing the implementation process such as legal documents, plan documents, internal form/document/SharePoint sites, etc.
  • Ability to take on additional projects for all product lines as required with the Equity Plans Business.
  • Performs monthly self-audits.
  • Provides product knowledge and systems advice to external (client) and internal contacts (Plans staff, sales, call centre and CTS)
  • Assist in the analysis of internal requests for system enhancements
  • Identifies internal errors and training deficiencies and communicates to his/her reporting manager.
  • Responsible for Web content administration
  • Monitors and updates different New Business Implementation SharePoint sites daily
  • Prioritizes internal and external requests – involves negotiating timelines and managing internal and external expectations
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
  • What will you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be familiar with overall industry regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Internet applications or similar processing packages, and applicable Computershare record keeping systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
