What you can expect when joining the team


Reporting to the Vice-President of Marketing, you will play an important role in shaping our brand's content ecosystem and driving impactful messaging across various channels.


You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our business objectives and resonates with our target audience.


Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to:

  • Strategize content pillars and sub-pillars to guide the development of a comprehensive and cohesive content strategy;
  • Create specifications and develop content tailored to Petal's different client personas;
  • Plan the editorial calendar and content proposition, considering the brand's objectives and target audience;
  • Develop an editorial strategy to ensure consistency of content across all delivery platforms, maintaining a unified brand voice and messaging;
  • Conduct periodic content audits to assess the effectiveness and relevance of existing content, identifying areas for improvement and optimization;
  • Oversee writing style and tone for all content, ensuring it aligns with the brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience;
  • Develop content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensure adherence to these guidelines throughout content creation and distribution processes;
  • Analyze the content marketing strategy to evaluate its effectiveness, identifying key metrics and performance indicators;
  • Track and calculate content ROI, assessing the impact of content efforts;
  • Ensure that the content strategy aligns with and supports the business objectives;
  • Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice, conveying key messages effectively and engaging the target audience;
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights;
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards;
  • Utilize SEO principles and best practices to optimize copy and enhance its visibility and reach.

Your profile
Are you a strategic and creative thinker, known for your capacity to develop compelling content strategies that captivate and engage audiences? Are you looking for the opportunity to shape a brand's content ecosystem and drive impactful messaging? _The sky is the limit_ If you have:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a content strategy or related role;
  • Exceptional copywriting skills to effectively plan, direct, design, and edit content that yields results;
  • A proven track record in handling and strategizing marketing campaigns;
  • Content monetization skills and the ability to plan how content can drive customer engagement and ultimately lead to revenue generation;
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and work effectively with various stakeholders simultaneously;
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong editorial competency determining what content should be retained, edited, rewritten, or discarded;
  • The ability to analyze content marketing data, spot patterns, and identify trends;
  • Strong teambuilding skills;
  • A keen interest in understanding organizational goals and targets;
  • Leadership qualities to drive initiatives forward, and influence stakeholders;
  • The ability to handle pressure, maintain composure, and deliver highquality work;
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (asset);
  • A good command of French;
  • Since most of your target audience will be located in Englishspeaking provinces, a complete command of English is required.
