a day in the life

As a Front End Engineer II, you will bring a high level of technical knowledge. You will work closely with your team lead using your experience and knowledge as a member of a team of Engineers though their day-to-day process in development as well as support for production concerns. You will be part of an Agile production release team and may perform on-call support functions as needed. As an Engineer II, you would support production systems and would maintain a deep understanding of how delivered products are functioning.

• A supporting contributor on a single agile team delivering high revenue impacting features and migrations
• Perform engineering assignments to ensure production readiness is maintained
• Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
• Contribute to research guiding product development and tools selection
• Participate in on-call support rotations and actively monitor key metrics and report on trends to ensure products meet guest expectations
• Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
• Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice

• Completed bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible
• 4 to 6 years of engineering experience in an enterprise organization
• Experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services.
• Experience with CDNs / caching / security / routing rules / etc
• Experience with application observability, system-level design, performance
• Experience with CI/CD principles and best-practices
• AWS experience and familiarity with IaC and Proxy servers
• Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Experience and interest in DevOps principles and best-practices
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment.

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from $105,800 - $138,800 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
