Key Accountabilities

Manage sales strategies for

_Trans Canada Electro_ to achieve significant market share of the territory's specialty and OEM business by establishing and / or maintaining a Vendor / Customer relationship, developing and / or growing sales.


Duties- Ensure all job functions are performed in accordance to the Guillevin Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) Manual;- Develop account strategies that meet the Business Centre sales objectives;- Develop profitable incremental sales to new and existing accounts;- Coordinate the sales and customer service efforts with Inside Sales and Purchasing;- Support the inside salespeople to foster excellent customer service, operational efficiency and account profitability;- Ensure in-depth and current knowledge of customers, as well as strengths and weaknesses of competitors;- Work with the Branch Manager to manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction;- Contact current and prospective clients to identify their need for existing and / or new products;- Develop and maintains long-term relationships with customers and vendor representatives;- Develop solutions to address customer issues; Respond to and processes incoming inquiries and orders;- Coordinate the opening of new accounts and maintain the existing customer base in your territory;- Provide basic technical support on products when customer inquiries are directed to you;- Provide accurate market intelligence to the Branch Manager and other members of the sales team; Continuously develop knowledge of products to remain up to date with various product lines (including vendor training) and industry changes;- Perform any other duties as required by management.


QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field;
  • Minimum five years experience in sales manager position;
  • Strong leadership, negotiating and supervisory skills;
  • Exceptional organization and strong analytic proficiencies;
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal;
  • Behaves in a highly ethical and professional manner reflecting Company values;
  • Ability to multitask and highly adaptable;
  • Goal and results driven;
  • Good communication skills in French and English written and spoken;
  • Comfortable in learning ERP systems and literate with standard office software;
  • Sound judgement and thrives on entrepreneurship;
  • Knowledge of telecommunication industry is an asset
