JOB TITILE:
PDI Quality Control Representative - Low-Rise & High
- Rise Division
DIRECT REPORTS:
Customer Service Manager/Sr. Homeowner Relations Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance Inspection Duties
- Complete Quality Assurance Inspections to ensure units are ready for PDI.
- Ensure accuracy of installation of finishes and execution of all upgrades.
- Update the Customer Care Manager of pertinent site issues/conditions.
- Monitor and work directly with the supervisors and trades to ensure QA items are completed and signed off in a timely manner.
Pre Delivery Inspection Duties
- Present thorough knowledge of all the printed material in the PDI folder.
- Accurately communicate Tarion's Warranty Processes and Ontario Building Code
- Perform predelivery home orientations with new homeowners to explain the different functions and features within the home (including the electrical and mechanical systems such as the ventilation, plumbing and heating).
- Provide accurate and detailed knowledge of the occupancy process.
- Guide purchasers through a comprehensive low/mid rise inspection prior to the closing of their home within the Halton/Hamilton Region as well as various project throughout the GTA.
- Note any items that are damaged, incomplete, missing or not operating properly based on the home owner's findings.
- Ensure deficiency list is within the TARION Construction Guidelines
- Monitor and work directly with the supervisors and trades to ensure PDI items are completed and signed off in a timely manner.
- Ensure company policies are adhered to and discuss any new ones that may be required with the Construction Manager
Customer Service/Admin Duties
- Represent Branthaven Homes as a point of contact for the homeowner; from the initial point of inspection through to the warranty period.
- Receive, direct, and respond to all modes of customer contact with consistent followup on all matters/queries received until the point of resolution.
- Champion of all customer surveys follow up with homeowners to ensure their experience is an enjoyable one.
- Provide daily updates to the Customer Service Department
- Home unit closeouts/occupancy duties include scheduling key pick up, distribution of keys and welcome home gifts.
- Prepare Pre Delivery Inspection folders
Requirements:
Ø A minimum two (2) years construction site administration experience in residential construction
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as knowledge of NewStar or ability to learn builder software
Ø A strong understanding of TARION Construction Guidelines & Warranty Program
Ø Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing expectations and providing a first class customer care experience
Ø Proven capabilities in multi-tasking, problem solving and prioritizing workloads.
Ø Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of constituents both in verbal and written manner.
Ø Must have own vehicle.
Salary:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
