Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and understand blueprints, work orders, and other process documentation to produce required parts for assembly and finished products
Set up and Operate Bystronic Press Brake and Laser Machine for sheet metal manufacturing
Perform complex programming using all features of the brake press
Program press brake controller and software
Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications
Perform QC inspections using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precisionmeasuring instruments
Set up and Operate Laser Machine for sheet metal manufacturing
Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures
Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point
Make proper setups for cutting operations
Responsible for checking quality of formed product to ensure it is defectfree and ready for subsequent production steps.
Responsible to adhere to production standards
Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

Min. 5 years Press Brake and Laser machine set up experience (Bystronic preferred)
Blueprint reading, specification, and knowledge of engineered specified tolerances
Knowledge of tooling and maintenance
Excellent attention to detail
Proven measurement and mathematical conversion skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
Must be physically fit and able to work with mínimal supervision
Perform other duties as required
Ability to work independently and cooperate within a team
Ability to communicate well with others and be detailedoriented
Willing and able to adapt to high pace and highpressure work environment
