Job Description
An
Xstore Architect
is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle Retail Xstore POS architecture across retail store environments. This role ensures seamless integration between POS, payment systems, inventory, merchandising, and enterprise retail platforms to support reliable and scalable in-store and omnichannel operations

• Design and lead enterprise integrations using Dell Boomi Atmosphere
• Define integration architecture, standards, and best practices
• Build and optimize API, real-time, and batch integrations
• Integrate SaaS, ERP, CRM, and legacy systems
• Ensure security, monitoring, error handling, and scalability
• Provide technical guidance and production support.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions across store systems and retail environments.
• Define POS architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards.
• Integrate Xstore with payments, ERP, OMS, CRM, inventory, and merchandising systems.
• Design and support store systems, registers, peripherals, and payment devices.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and security compliance (PCI-DSS).
• Lead POS upgrades, deployments, store rollouts, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, product, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
• Provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Oracle Retail Xstore POS architecture and implementation
• Deep understanding of retail store systems, POS workflows, and omnichannel retail
• Experience with payment integrations, payment gateways, and device integrations
• Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, middleware, messaging, microservices)
• Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture
• Strong expertise in retail business processes: sales, returns, promotions, inventory
