POSITION INTRODUCTION:

CAE presents an enticing opportunity for an
IT Support Administrator based in Toronto, Canada.
We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our
IT Support operations team in a full-time capacity at the CAE Training Centre.
IT Leader, you'll integrate into the CAE
IT Operations & Infrastructure Team, primarily providing first-line
IT Support to our staff in Canada.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage with diverse technologies, including Windows 11, Windows Server, SharePoint, Active Directory management, Office 365 Apps, Finance & CRM systems, among others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure, deploy, and relocate corporate
IT hardware and software. - Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes for personnel.
- Maintain
IT assets in the database and log incidents in the
IT Service Management system (BMC Helix). - Provide support for MS Office products, Windows 10/11 Enterprise, and other apps remotely and in person.
- Assist CAE instructors in resolving classroom issues.
- Contribute to exciting new projects by deploying innovative software and hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with
IT teams worldwide across different time zones. - Core working hours: 8am5pm, Mon-Fri, with occasional outofhours work.
- Travel to other CAE offices may be required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 13 years of experience in
IT Support/Helpdesk or similar roles (Recent
IT graduates without experience will also be considered). - Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Selfmotivation and the ability to work independently.
- Quick learning aptitude in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Patience, stress tolerance, and multitasking capabilities.
- Technical proficiency in
IT Infrastructure, including laptops, mobile devices, Windows Operating Systems, and MS Office packages. - Technical school,
IT degree, or equivalent experience.
