  • What you'll do:


Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the operation of business unit activities, management and development of staff, and delivery of successful outcomes that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

This position leads the overall operations and delivery of services for the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry.

Services include corporate entity name reservations, online and paper-based submission and registration, document search, multi-jurisdictional data sharing, entity compliance, system integrations with other Saskatchewan registries, and customer support.

The position operates primarily at the tactical level, but strategic thinking and planning is required to drive the future of the business unit.


Other duties include:

  • Leads day to day operations including hiring, workforce management, employee engagement, coaching, attendance and performance management and training and development.
  • Works collaboratively with others to improve service delivery and customer experience and is responsible for the efficient and effective day to day management of the business area.
  • Ensures contractual requirements meet critical nonnegotiable service delivery standards and expectations ensuring timeliness, quality, and accuracy.
  • Engages with registry statutory officials and policy experts; understands, makes recommendations, and directs operations to ensure compliance with multiple pieces of legislation, regulations, and policies, having consideration for financial, operational, and service level impacts.
  • Engages with technology leaders to maintain effective operations and performance of systems; understands, participates, and supports the development of technical requirements, operational processes, and implementation of technical features and services.
  • Ensures coordination and communication across other business units to achieve corporate and business unit goals.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of product line strategies and plans for their area of business that align with corporate objectives for growth and stable core operations.
  • Achieves financial targets as set for the business unit including budget revenue, expenses, operating, and contribution margin.
  • What you'll need:
  • Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities are acquired from the achievement of some postsecondary level education supplemented with three or more years of progressive leadership experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to motivate and lead in a fast paced, changing service operation.
  • Ability to foster and encourage a customeroriented focus ensuring an expectation of excellence in customer service is set and achieved.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate at all levels across the broader organization to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Ability to lead business unit initiatives, including ongoing process improvement and integration of project or corporate initiatives, with the ability to lead successful change.
  • Sound technical and systems acumen with the ability to articulate and translate between business needs and system requirements as part of troubleshooting,.
  • Sound financial acumen with the ability to assimilate and use data for effective decision making and strategic planning.
