1. Purpose of the position

  • Ensures the transmission of instructions between teams and with related services (Quality, Logistics) and brings its experience with employees in resolving problems encountered
  • Organizes material and human resources to respond to the production program with a shortterm horizon.
  • Ensure compliance with current procedures and participate in the creation and updating.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and LEAN monitoring.
  • Produce daily production reports.

2. Main functions

BATCH PRODUCTION

  • Ensures the transmission of instructions between teams and with related services (Quality, Logistics) and brings its experience with its collaborators in resolving the problems encountered.
  • Check, complete and transmit batch files as well as packaging documents for the start and end of production.
  • Takes the necessary measures to preserve the integrity of people, property and products in the event of an anomaly.
  • Ensures input into production management systems (SAP and Mars and others)
  • Ensure management of T1 as well as updating of the LEAN table.
  • Produce the daily production report.
  • Actively participate in the hiring and training of new employees.
  • Participate in welcoming new employees and prepare their training bag.

MANAGEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS

  • Ensures the good working order of equipment and premises.
  • Ensures proper use of equipment.
  • Informs the technical service of problems encountered and facilitates their interventions.
  • Organizes the execution of TPM activities
MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF THE ACTIVITY / PLANNING

  • Organizes material and human resources to respond to the production program with a shortterm horizon.
  • Enforces production standards (TRS, Productivity, Yields).
  • Ensures the necessary followups with the production planning department.
  • Organizes material and human resources to respond to activities related to projects (validation, process development).
GMP and HSE

  • Ensures compliance with GMPs and procedures.
  • Ensures the monitoring of the authorizations of the staff in place.
  • Participates in the drafting of procedures and instructions for his sector.
  • Participates in the analysis of events and incidents and the development of corrective actions.
  • Help in drafting deviations in collaboration with the Q.A.
  • Participates in carrying out PASS actions in his sector.

3. Management Responsibilities

  • Ensures a climate conducive to good team performance is maintained.
  • Relays information between his hierarchy and the team.
  • Participates in the evaluation of its employees and participates in their development, particularly by identifying training needs.
  • Evaluates and coordinates overtime.
  • Monitors vacations according to the needs of the schedule.
  • Informs his hierarchy of labor or resource needs.

4. Main professional relationships (internal/external)

  • Ensures the interface with all ancillary services (Quality, Logistics, Technical Services, Process Development, Validation).
  • Ensures interface with the evening team and other production sectors

Knowledge and skills required:

a) Training required

DEC in chemistry or equivalent combination of experience and academic training

b) Languages

French

c) Special experience and knowledge

Minimum 5 years of experience within a pharmaceutical industry

Required experience in production, pharmaceutical development and/or industrial technology

Technical knowledge of processes/products
