We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Deskside Support Administrator to join our IT team in Langley, BC.


Reporting to the Manager, Endpoint Technologies, you will provide implementation and technical support for end user facing technologies, ensuring that configuration standards and best practices are employed to support business goals.


You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting end user technologies used by our team members and providing great customer experience while meeting these goals.
  • Building partnerships with other IT teams to ensure that team member endpoint needs can be met where other specific skills are needed.
  • Managing the intake and completion of eticket requests assigned to the deskside support team.
  • Being able to explain technical details to our team members in nontechnical terms.
  • Following the standards and practices already set in place to ensure that technology configurations meet a consistent standard.
  • Continuously seeking out opportunities to improve and provide the best end user experience.
  • Promoting and participating as a member of a strategically driven, cohesive team that reflects a team spirit that inspires and motivates exceptional performance.

You have:

  • Diploma in Information Systems, or another related field.
  • 3 years of IT work experience, preferably in a technical support role with regular interaction with end users.
  • Experience using cloud based systems such as Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in troubleshooting and solving problems in a complex environment.
  • Experience with deploying and supporting desktops and laptops using automation and remote access solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills supporting Office365, printers, shared network drives in an enterprise, multisite environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel to locations within the lower mainland on an as needed basis.
