    Work with an integrated project team to develop design solutions that are unique to each project
    Be able and interested in working on various scales and typologies of projects
    Lead and participate in projects through all phases; Engagement, Project Stat-up, Design and planning, Documentation and Construction
    Communicate and coordinate required design through engagement and programming, concept/schematic design phases, space planning development, and technical drawings and detailing from early conceptual stages through to final completion
    Communicate and coordinate with an integrated team of internal and external project consultants, specialty consultants, contractors, and manufacturers/product representatives
    render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings
    Responsible to apply building code and construction regulation knowledge and prepare project specific building code analysis
    Responsible for selection and specification of furniture, finishes, equipment, and accessories; Attend on-site visits and field reviews and direct contractors and vendors as required
    Coordinate and undertake site deficiency reviews and installation reviews
    Participate in drawing reviews and quality assurance reviews
    Take on the appropriate project management and delivery tasks to lead and/or contribute the success of projects in terms schedule, budget, design excellent and client/project objectives
    Coordinate and/or undertake the preparation of required project documents, minutes, schedules, and specifications
    Assist with establishing and maintaining project budgeting and scheduling
    Participate and contribute to DIALOG's culture though mentorship and design thinking
    Be interested in attending DIALOG events including social, culture and learning and development

    Design Enthusiast:
    Can create and translate concepts into uniquely experiential and functional design solutionsand isn't afraid to continuously challenge proposed outcomes
    Excellent communication skills, team oriented, accountable, and highly motivated with a desire to contribute to the success of projects; Proven, well-rounded (or desired) experience in participating in client engagement processes from programming and conceptual design, design development, through to construction phases
    Great project management and time management skills with the ability to look ahead and anticipate
    A self-starter who is passionate about contributing to furthering the profession of Architecture and Design
    Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
    ~5+ years of experience as an interior designer, with strong knowledge, creativity, and experience of the design process
    ~ NCIDQ certificated is an asset
    ~ Proficient skills in Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
    ~ Experience with Rhino is an asset
    ~ A comprehensive knowledge of building codes and construction regulations Project management and contract administration experience is required
