Description
Provide premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions
- determine type & quantity of product desired by customer
- advise customer on specific products if requested; discuss quality, taste, use, etc. an asset
- prepare product for customer (weigh & package)
- assist in arranging products in counter display where needed
- complies with safety rules and safe food handling rules
- help to clean work area and keep store tidy
- work in co-operation with other employees in a team environment
- maintain a good rapport with customers, co-workers; provide assistance when necessary


Requirements:


  • Customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Second language would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Excellent personal hygiene
  • Ability to follow the General Safety Rules and Food Safety Rules
  • Able to make some quick hot food and serve and pack it

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$15.50-$16.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
