Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Support individuals with range of motion exercises and other daily activities.
• Accompany clients to their appointments and/or assist them with running errands.
• Follow the care plan provided by the Care Manager and carry out the necessary actions for the client accordingly.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the boundaries of your own expertise and understanding, ensuring safe and proficient practice that aligns with the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
• Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
• Valid driver's license and car is an asset.
• Care aide registered with BC registry is an asset.
