Position Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the IT Lead to support the overall IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and telecommunications systems.
  • Assist in the procurement and inventory management of laptop hardware, software licenses, and peripheral devices. Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and proper installation of equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and security, proactively identifying potential issues and taking preventative measures to mitigate risk. Contribute to the implementation of proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to endusers on the effective use of hardware, software, and systems. Educate users on IT bestpractices and security protocols to promote a secure and efficient computing environment.
  • Assist with current and ongoing IT projects, as needed.

Qualifications:


  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 13 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support roles is desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with a customercentric approach.
  • Familiarity with hardware components and peripheral devices (e.g. printers, scanners, mobile devices).
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and keepup with industry trends.
  • Ability to speak French would be an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to our Commercialization hub in Candiac, Québec.
  • Ability to work both onsite and remotely.
