The Edmonton EXPO Centre is seeking a skilled
Chef de Partie and
Cold Kitchen Chef de Partie to join our culinary team Working closely with the Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for overseeing the sensory aspects of our dishes, ensuring that the taste, aroma, appearance, and texture meet our high-quality standards.

Your role will involve guiding and informing team members about any adjustments needed to uphold the exceptional quality and presentation of our culinary creations.

  • Efficiently managing food production, maintaining detailed records, minimizing waste, and ensuring mise en place readiness for the upcoming day.
  • Providing support for culinary production and banquet setup, including handson involvement in action stations such as carving.
  • Upholding impeccable cleanliness standards in accordance with AHS guidelines, with a focus on maintaining a wellorganized and hygienic workstation.
  • Thoroughly completing daily opening and closing checklists, temperature logs, and equipment cleaning responsibilities.
  • Strict adherence to the EXPO Centre Health and Safety Standards, ensuring a secure and healthy work environment for all.
  • Postsecondary education, with a preference for a degree in culinary or hospitality management
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Red Seal Certificate is required.
  • 67 years experience in a highvolume kitchen or banquet operation.
  • Excellent understanding of food service and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced work environment, including the capacity to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 24 kilograms.
