The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is accountable for working with Managers (clients) throughout the recruitment process and supporting the Talent Acquisition Specialists and Advisors in the recruitment competitions that they are managing.


Summary of Key Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Utilizing ATS / HRIS Business system to facilitate the effective management of the recruitment process, while ensuring the recruitment process is followed by all Managers (Clients)
  • Student Hires
    Responsible for full cycle recruitment for student, Administrative Resident and Coop positions, which includes the creation of offer letters and the appropriate Action Forms;
  • Fulfills all responsibilities in an internal/external facing role, while providing optimal customer services to managers and the general public in a timely manner;
  • Creates tests using eskills platform as per the position's requirements critical analysis of job, consult with managers to ensure test matches requirements of the job;
  • Posts jobs on external boards, as requested by Talent Acquisition Specialists/Advisors and Hiring Managers;
  • Advises/researches other job posting websites that can be used/as appropriate for position;
  • Manages branding on each job board;
  • Accountable for all reporting requirements required; vacancy, ONA reporting, termination audit reports

Overview of Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, or related discipline required;
  • Competent knowledge and experience working with relevant legislative requirements/policies to effectively recruiting, interviewing and hiring staff preferred;
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment an asset;
  • Proven experience in the area of recruitment preferred, with experience working with an applicant tracking system an asset;
  • Experience working as a team player, in a collaborative environment required;
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, with time sensitive deadlines required;
  • Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building, communication and customer focus skills required;
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to quickly assimilate the organizations' philosophy, culture, mission, values, goals and objectives into the daily approach to human resources management required;
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to pay attention to detail required;
  • Strong project management skills to plan, organize and coordinate various activities and manage competing priorities and balance multiple, disparate tasks required;
  • One (1) years recruitment experience working in a customer focused Recruitment Department in a multi union and multidisciplined organization preferred;
  • Human Resources professional designation preferred
