    Description

    Your Opportunity:

    You have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, delivering preventative oral health services to patients in need. You will have the opportunity to provide clinical treatment and education to at risk population. This position is based out of East Edmonton Health Centre.

    Description:

    As a Dental Assistant, you will receive and prepare patients for treatment. You will prepare instruments and materials required, perform intra-oral procedures and chair-side assistance during dental procedures. You will maintain cleanliness of the dental area and perform routine maintenance. You will also provide oral health treatment and education to patients. You may perform billing and pre-authorization of insurance claims and participate in the development of educational resource materials. You will maintain dental charts, records and databases.

    Required Qualifications:

    Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).

    Connect Care training preferred.
