Why This Role is Important:
What You'll Do:
- Develop credit and fraud loss forecasts, including research, insights, model updates, and recommendations;
- Manage key credit risk reporting deliverables to complete on time;
- Supervise current loss forecasting models and identify and act on improvement opportunities;
- Form relationships with stakeholders to provide meaningful insights;
- Lead the implementation, updating and monitoring of all regulatory compliance processes, as it relates to loss forecasting and reporting; and
- Complete credit risk and modelling market research, requirement definition, and model concept development.
What You Bring:
- Ability to gather and visualize data, and share insights through storytelling;
- Ability to lead a high preforming team, previous people management experience is beneficial;
- Stakeholder management experience;
- Problem solving capability that uses a collaborative, teambased approach to understand issues and develop solutions;
- 47 years of experience within consumer lending environment;
- Experience building predictive models with SAS;
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python or R is beneficial;
- Proven analytical and conceptual problem solver who can adapt to a rapidly changing environment;
- Ability to distill and communicate sophisticated analytic recommendations to both technical and nontechnical collaborators, both orally and in written presentations; and
- Good project management to provide timely updates on reports and analysis.
