Avery Human Resources is hiring Millwrights for one of our auto manufacturing clients in Mississauga. *This is a Temp to Perm role.


Shift timings:
11.00AM to 7.30PM

7.00AM to 3.30PM


Pay:
$35/hr


Role and responsibilities:
1) Fulfill all responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor according to Regulated Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright standards.

2) Possess a comprehensive set of hand tools commonly used in this trade.

3) Demonstrate proficiency in reading, interpreting, and utilizing tools such as micrometers, verniers, etc.

4) Exhibit familiarity with the fundamental operations of power tools and machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, drills, etc.

5) Display a foundational working understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

6) Hold some experience in troubleshooting Presses, Compressors, Chillers, Welding Equipment, etc.

7) Possess the ability to weld broken sections and fabricate shelving or guarding.

8) Competent in performing overhauls and significant repairs on all plant machinery and equipment.

9) Exhibit some experience in basic rigging, unloading, and dismantling heavy equipment efficiently and safely for both workers and equipment.

10) Capable of thoroughly comprehending and following detailed instruction manuals, blueprints, drawings, and sketches to properly install and set up heavy or light equipment.

11) Skilled in dismantling, identifying all component parts, and reassembling equipment.

12) Operate in compliance with QMS, EMS, and H&S standards, policies, objectives, impacts, aspects, hazards, and risks.


Experience Required:
1) 3 – 5 Years experience in a Stamping and Welding manufacturing environment.

2) Knowledge of process flow and optimization, cellular manufacturing engineering MRP experience an asset.


Qualification:
1) Post Secondary Diploma and experience in technical areas, C.E.T. or Professional Engineering Designation.
