Description

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to the provided plans.
  • Install wooden structures, such as doors, windows, cabinets, staircases, and framing components.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and other construction professionals to ensure the accurate execution of woodwork.
  • Inspect and repair existing wooden structures, identifying any defects or issues that require attention.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery effectively and safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the proper storage and handling of tools and materials.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety among team members.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Woodworking Construction Worker or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality craftsmanship.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Salary:
$16.00-$25.00 per hour
