Overview Colortech Inc., a leading manufacturer within the plastics/ compounding industry, is looking for a Production Supervisor.
Requirements Supervisory experience with responsibility for production, in a union environment. This includes supervision of production staff and skills in teambuilding, staff hiring and development, discipline, and planning/organizing/directing work distribution.
- Secondary School education, combined with knowledge and a minimum of three year's relevant manufacturing industry experience. Plastics/ compounding/master batch experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of relevant legal regulations (WHMIS, lead and safety)
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to provide clear instruction in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot all aspects of the production process, analyze mechanical problems, and complete basic repairs and maintenance of production equipment
Forklift experience is required; certification is preferred.

Must be able to work night shift, and work overtime including covering for day shift and afternoon shift supervisors when on vacation/ill, or working weekend overtime when needed.
