    Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a self-motivated, hard-working full-time Ground Control Element technician for the Korean Global Hawk Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program in Osan, Republic of Korea.
    Job duties include:

    • Coordinating all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the Ground Control Element (GCE) and associated support equipment.
    • Responsible for all phase of GCE daily operations
    • Responsible for submission of trouble reports, technical deficiency reports and maintenance of the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) data base on site.
    • Coordinates and schedules maintenance between ROKAF and the onsite suppliers
    • Schedules and arranges contractor support for ancillary equipment.
    • Oversee troubleshoot and accurately diagnose malfunctions to properly identify and correct problems in minimum time.
    • Coordinates and supports both pre-mission and post-mission briefings.
    • Conducts briefings and debriefings, and coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct shelter discrepancies.
    • May conduct Briefs with customers, government officials or other personnel to exhibit GCE shelters performance and system capabilities.
    • Coordinating with in country logistics team and CONUS Global Supply Chain for the ordering and tracking of repair parts and consumables.
    This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity. This position will include Flight Arrangement(s), Household Good Shipment, HOLA, COLA and other incentives for working this assignment overseas . More information about Osan, South Korea
    Osan Air Base | Base Overview & Info | MilitaryINSTALLATIONS ) Basic Qualifications:
    • Typically, the ideal candidate will have 3 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 5 years' experience in lieu of degree.
    • U.S. citizen and must be able to obtain Interim Secret security clearance prior to start. Once started, must have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in tactical operations.
    • Able to commit to 2 years overseas assignment to Osan, RoK
    • Must be able to support the 24/7 operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission need.
    • Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Triton/Global Hawk experience
    • RF/Data Link experience
    • Familiarity with Korean culture, traditions, laws, etc
