Monday to Friday, from 08:30 a.m. Our client is seeking a Python Programmer/Analyst to join their development team. The successful candidate will provide part-time support to ensure the solution remains stabilized until it is replaced. This will include resolving tickets, coding new logic, troubleshooting, etc. Must be available to Monday to Friday, from 08:30 a.m. Atlantic time, with possibility of occasional work outside of regular business hours to resolve urgent or high priority issues.
The programmer must be available to support the Django/Python services within required time frames based on the priority of the identified issue.
Primary tasks include all support and maintenance activities to ensure continued stabilization of the Django Online Grants and Subsidy services.
This may encompass coding; database, and form changes.Working with government resources who support the servers, network, and all other areas of the solution.
Working closely with the business users on the requirements, requested changes and all facets of support.
Prioritize tickets and provide technical input to help facilitate decision making.
Any other support functions of an online solution not previously listed here such as analysis, unit testing, implementation of changes etc.
3 years of demonstrated recent experience with Django Python/PythonDemonstrated experience developing, deploying and supporting applications and proven analytical skills.
Experience working with user interface and development standards found in web browser applications.
Exposure to structured project team environments with formal processes for deliverable approvals, change requests and configuration management.
Previous experience mentoring or providing knowledge transfer to other technical resources.
