We are currently looking for a dynamic
Network Administrator/Video conference for a role to hire for our client located in
Contrecoeur, QC.

On-site position with the possibility of working from home once a week.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 23 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS, VLAN, etc.).
  • Knowledge of video surveillance (Genetec an atou).
  • Knowledge of rights management.
  • Indepth knowledge of network cabling, RJ45 and fiber optics, gbic, bix.
  • Selfreliance and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to see a project through from start to finish.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Has a car.
  • Bilingual (French/English)

Routine Operational Tasks:


  • Handle requests received by telephone or Teams.

Process various requests

  • Validate status of Genetec services (Orion
  • Directories
  • Archivers).
  • Update documents and procedures.
  • Process all requests received by the IT department.

Processing requests received in ServiceNow

  • Assign new requests received in ServiceNow.
  • Process requests.
  • Transfer requests to other people to finalize requests.

Processing production requests

  • Support for critical production requests.
  • Replace, install cameras.
  • Modification of access and privileges.

Processing CTPAT requests

  • Support for critical CTPAT requests.
  • Replace, install cameras.
  • Modification of access and privileges.

Processing network requests

  • Support for network requests.
  • Patching schedule.
  • IP address reservations.
  • VLAN changes.
  • Port closing/opening.

All other regular and non-regular requests:

  • Ensure the operation of Genetec.
  • Plan the upgrade of the Genetec version chosen by AMPLC in collaboration with Noxe.
  • Ensure data integrity in each of the existing archivers.
  • Ensure SMA renewal for all existing infrastructure.
  • Maintain uptodate technical documentation related to the Genetec architecture.
  • Adhere to the best practices recommended by the latest revision of CTPAT.
  • Respect the data retention requirements specified by AMPLC and by the customer receiving the service: Operations; Quality; Health & Safety; CTPAT
  • Provide advice on the architecture and evolution of our video surveillance system.
  • Offer quotations for hardware purchase and replacement.

Other requests

  • Supplier pricing and expense report.
  • Report of all contract's previous year vs. current year
  • Investigation and dispatch of billing adjustment, etc...

Qualifications:

  • Capacité de mener un projet à terme, du début jusqu'à la mise en service.
  • Habileté à gérer les priorités.

Taches Opérationnelles Courantes:


Traitement des courriels et appels téléphoniques

  • Prendre connaissance de tous les courriels reçus CTPAT et PRODUCTION (en moyenne 5 à 10 par semaine).
  • Répondre à tous les courriels qui requièrent une réponse.
  • Traiter les demandes reçues par courriel.
  • Traiter les demandes reçues par téléphone ou Teams.
