***: We are looking for driven, problem-solving, team-spirited individuals to work with the Abbotsford Canucks for Kids Fund 50/50 Program for the upcoming 23-24 season. This is a part-time, hourly, event-based position.

A typical shift includes:

Coordinating the financial, technical, and logístical components of each raffle lottery
Organizing, training, and motivating a diverse group of 50/50 volunteer sellers
Carrying out all pre

- and post-draw operations

Overseeing the secure handling of electronic equipment and lottery revenues
Other duties may be assigned as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 19 years of age
Available to work at least 50% of all events at Abbotsford Centre each month, with a typical start time of 4:30pm
Available to work during the Christmas holiday season, spring break, and summer as shifts are dependent on the event schedule
Ability to thrive and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment
A reliable team player who respects people who volunteer and knows how to make their team's day
Driven with initiative and a commitment to service excellence
Experience cash handling and supervising staff is an asset
Experience working in a volunteerfocused program is an asset
