Mount St. Mary Hospital, located in downtown Victoria, provides long term complex care to 200 residents. We have over 300 staff working under the provisions of 3 collective agreements.

We are seeking an energetic Human Resources professional to be responsible for a variety of Human Resources functions to support our staff and the Director of Human Resources.

These include recruitment and selection, HR records management, support for Occupational Health and Safety program requirements and labour relations issues.


Qualifications include completion of a Human Resources Management degree or diploma, 2-4 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Exceptional communication skills, strong excel and word skills, working knowledge of standard HR policies and WorkSafeBC claims and safety procedures.

We offer comprehensive health and welfare benefits and the Municipal Pension Plan. The position is full time 37.5 hours per week but could be amended to 30 hours per week.

Salary:
$27.00-$29.35 per hour
