    Housekeeper - 12-Month Part-Time Contract

    As a Housekeeper, you'll become highly skilled in performing a combination of specialized cleaning duties. This is a 3-day/week (Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday) part-time, 12-month contract position with flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and holidays.

    Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean suites, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways; remove all stains and debris.
    • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
    • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
    • Sweep and scrub using brooms, mops, and/or powdered scrubbing and waxing machines.
    • Dust and polish furniture and equipment; polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
    • Replace light bulbs in common areas.
    • Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, iron, and fold dried items.
    • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing & polishing as necessary.
    • Remove debris from parking lots and around the complex.
    • Clean carpeted grates.
    • Ensure fitness & entertainment areas are cleaned on a regular basis; wipe down gym equipment.
    • Ensure all pool and hot‑tube areas are cleaned.
    • Ensure vacant suites are ready for showings and lease‑ready.
    • Perform rounds of the complex on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness; elevate issues where appropriate.
    • Seasonally provide light landscaping (raking, garbage removal, water plant boxes).
    • Ensure barbecue and terrace area (including furniture) is cleaned on a regular basis.
    • Observe precautions required to protect residents and report damage, theft, and found articles to the Assistant Property Manager.
    • Request service repairs as needed.
    • Ensure the highest level of safety standards are adhered to while performing all duties.
    • Keep cleaning supply cart well stocked and tidy.
    • Professional liaison with all residents and employees.
    • Escort contractors around the building when Concierge is not available.
    • Maintain all housekeeping equipment and ensure all required tools and equipment are in good working order.

    • Strong attention to detail with a high level of quality.
    • Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.

    Position requires Criminal Records Check Completion.
