- Establish and oversee crossfunctional ESG data collection in collaboration with various organizational stakeholders.
- Work closely with various departments to understand their specific ESGrelated needs and objectives.
- Guide departments in identifying relevant ESG KPIs that align with the company's overall sustainability goals.
- Maintain a database of best practices, data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in all ESG areas.
- Utilize Power BI to analyze ESGrelated data:
- Develop reports and dashboards to visualize ESG data and trends to inform action plans.
- Communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with all departments and partners to identify and implement bestinclass ESG practices and action plans in line with Lactalis Canada's mission and the broader CSR/ESG goals of Lactalis Group.
- Support the development of ESG strategies for packaging, waste, transport, carbon reduction, emissions, animal welfare and energy for all business units, in alignment with Lactalis Canada and Lactalis Group's global CSR strategy. Our main Group pillars are Climate, Packaging Circularity and Animal Welfare.
- Conduct comprehensive research on ESG topics, trends, and best practices Globally and in Canada
- Effectively communicate the organization's ESG strategies, policies, and performance internally & to external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the content, design, and production of the Annual ESG Report.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Industrial, Supply Chain, Transportation, Packaging, Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Communications, and Human Resources to gather ESG data and provide support for strategy development.
- Build presentations, reports, content drafts, and other materials to convey analyses and recommendations to key audiences.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to relevant ESG regulations and meet evolving stakeholder expectations in sustainability.
- Implement systems and processes for ESG data tracking and reporting as requested by external parties.
- Respond to customer and client surveys and questions related to Lactalis Canada's ESG initiatives.
- Facilitate data collection and verification for external ESG audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate audit responses

About the opportunity:
Accountable for supporting the organization's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, including the analysis of ESG data and effective data management and governance of ESG reporting.
Works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure our ESG insights, data and reporting aligned with the ESG strategy.

What you will bring:
University degree/College Diploma in sustainability or a business-related discipline
Previous experience in an ESG-related role
Knowledge of the evolving ESG and sustainability reporting regulatory landscape, including global standards (ISSB) and regulatory frameworks (CSRD)
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and audits (e.g., SEDEX SMETA, EcoVadis)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong proficiency with Power BI & Excel with 2+ years in BI/Analytics solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels
Ability to work collaboratively across the company to synthesize ideas and information and convert them into meaningful insights and plans.
5 years of experience in ESG, preferably in the CPG industry
