Credit and Collections Assistant (Full time) - Brampton, ON
Primary Purpose
As a key member of our Accounts Receivable Collections Department, you will be responsible to answer all inbound communication that are direct result of Linde Canada providing services and products to our customer.
You be required to assess, research, and review each inquiry, provide required documentation and resolution in a timely, professional and ethical manner, while ensuring that past due balances are settled.
The position reports to the Manager, Credit & Collections out of our 80 Westcreek Blvd. Brampton, Ontario location.Key Accountabilities:
- Provide Efficient and Effective Customer Service to our Clients.
- Effectively Manage inbound Call Inquiries and/or makes outbound calls as part of resolution management
- Collect and Process Customer Payments and assist/provide documentation to customer as required
- Communicate with debtors to negotiate timely repayment, attempt to bring resolution to unpaid accounts
- Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate documentation on all related activities
- Educate our customers on practices, procedures and selfservice options to avoid future collection activity.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management to implement processes improvements.
- Routing of relevant information to other departments and locations as appropriate
- Maintain and update detailed documentation of interaction
- Follow up with various departments within the organization to resolve any issues
- Release orders per Linde Policy and Guidelines
- Implement key strategies to drive results and goals.
Required
Qualifications
Education:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of previous collections / call center and/or high volume sales experience
- Previous experience working with inbound dialer/callcenter telecommunication solution
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English); Bilingual in French (written and verbal) is a definite asset
- Exceptional computer skills (MS Office, Intermediate Excel)
- Creative problem solving, strategic, strong analytical skills and innovative thinker
- Selfstarter, excellent organization, and time management skills
