    About the role


    The Shuttle Loader Operator is part of the Mining Operations team. He/she is responsible for clearing development drifts and production sites using shuttle loaders.

    Responsibilities

    • Clear development and production site flights of stairs
    • Perform rock fill
    • Operate a shuttle loader in remote control and remote operation modes
    • Respect and apply work and health and safety procedures
    • All tasks related to the performance of duties

    Training & Experience

    • Vocational diploma in mineral extraction or combination of relevant education and experience
    • Two (2) or more years' experience in remote-controlled shuttle loader operation
    • Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7
    • Valid driver's license

    Working Conditions

    • Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
    • Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
