- School Nurse certificate (PK–12) issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education – preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred (or bachelor's degree plus RN licensure)
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license – required
- Current CPR/AED certification – required
- School nursing or pediatric experience – preferred
