**Reporting to the Manager - Regional Rehabilitative Care, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing conservative management clinical pathways for knee and hip osteoarthritis at sites throughout the North West. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with system stakeholders to assist with the implementation of the overall project goals.

D - Good Life with Arthritis in Denmark) project is a regional conservative management program for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis (OA) and who are not going on to a surgical consultation.


Qualifications:


Education/Experience:


  • University degree in Health Care (Physiotherapy, Kinesiology or Chiropractor)
  • GLA:D Certification

Skills/Abilities:


  • Demonstrated expertise in program/project planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Excellent relationship building skills with advance problem solving skills and business acumen and cultural competency
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and consensus building skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of project management tools and approaches to effectively manage a multidisciplinary project and the flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams
  • Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to change
  • Selfdirected with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and multitask

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Ability to trvel to various work locations within the region and provide own transportation.
  • This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
