  • Salary: $50,000 to $55,000, depending on experience
  • Location: London, ON (Remote work from home with monthly onsite team meetings)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am 5:00pm), 40 hours per week

The Job
This position would be suitable for someone with experience in arranging cross border transportation.

You will be working with all parties in the supply chain, responsible for the efficient coordination of customers' logistics needs, and providing exemplary service to both internal and external customers.

Ideally you will have an asset based background that allows you to understand and support carrier relationships.


What your job duties may include:

  • Process orders, select carriers, negotiate rates, and issue the necessary documentation.
  • Ensure ontime pickup of shipments, monitor them while in transit to ensure successful ontime delivery per customer expectations.
  • Maintain an excellent rapport with all staff, suppliers, clients, and their vendors and customers.
  • Provide problemsolving support to meet supply chain partner needs.
  • Demonstrate tremendous time management skills and accuracy in all transactions; attention to detail is a must.
  • Participate in the company Quality Management System, following, identifying and implementing improvements in processes and procedures.
  • Promote the crossselling of company services to existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and uniformity in all transactions.
  • All other duties as required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous experience with Transportation Dispatch and Customer Service is preferred.
  • Previous experience with ACE/ACI and Border Crossing requirements is an asset.
  • Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) or other applicable software is an asset.
  • Business level communication in both written and verbal exchanges.
  • Ability to garner the respect and trust of Clients, Suppliers, and Staff.
  • Works well in a team, able to prioritize and cope with deadlines.
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to speak French would be an asset.
