The Opportunity:
The Project Manager plays a key role in the technology, and telecommunications program at the IWK.
Reporting to the Manager of the program, the Project Manager is responsible for oversight of strategic projects aimed at continuous improvement and achieving program objectives that is aligned with our vision.
Working with the Director and Managers within the IWK, the Project Manager will manage projects/initiatives that have the potential to improve patient and/or family experience.
Responsibilities include:
managing projects from initiation to completion, e.g., conducting needs assessments and stakeholder focus groups, leading change management, project tracking, project analysis, identifying obstacles and solutions, and producing reports.
The job will also involve supporting key staff with improvement initiatives and supporting the Digital and Client Services department.Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a healthrelated profession required.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management required.
- Certification in project management required.
- Demonstrated Project Management Skills including defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan, executing, managing to the budget, and closing projects.
- Demonstrated experience in digital transformation and change management.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problemsolving skills required.
- Demonstrated skills in collaborative project management and management of key partner communication.
- Strong Communication, planning, presentation, and organizational skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset.
