Description

As one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, Fresh Direct Produce is looking for a full-time Administration Coordinator to join our growing team.

Reporting to the HR & Development Manager, the job holder handles day-to-day company administration duties, with a large focus on leading or participating in corporate events, and provides support to the HR team on initiatives and administration.

Your love of working with different teams balances with your ability to prioritize with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and coordinate corporate activities, including fundraisers and employee events
Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies, pantry and cleaning supplies, equipment, stationery, and furniture
Coordinate corporate services with contractors, such as cell phone plans, printers, shredding service, etc.
Support HR functions as needed
Maintain and update certain areas on the company intranet
Provide assistance to senior management on various projects/initiatives
Arrange meetings and taking meeting minutes as needed
Make travel arrangements, such as booking plane tickets, car rentals, and hotels
Provide supervision to the Janitor's daytoday work and conduct annual performance evaluations

Qualifications include:

Minimum 3 years' administration experience
Strong relationship building skills
Solutionsdriven and strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs; experience with SharePoint an asset
Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) preferred
