Department Overview

  • The Specialized Sales Force (SSF) is an exciting and dynamic national sales channel within TD responsible for the acquisition of new Mortgage and Home Equity FlexLine business as well as facilitating the sale of Credit Protection. Our team is responsible for delivering new customers to TD, contributing to both the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) market share, based on a commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, each Mobile Mortgage Specialist (MMS) and Branch Mortgage Specialist (BMS) leverages a distinct discovery process and collaborative approach to building a financing strategy that reflects each client's unique needs and delivers the full spectrum of TD products and services.
  • The National Office Specialized Home Financing is a support team accountable for the development and execution of channel strategies, delivering business performance insights to drive growth and increase productivity as well as the creation and the implementation of policies, processes, and capabilities supporting our MMS, BMS and Broker channels. To deliver on our mandate successfully, the business works closely with our Realtor and Builder Partnerships, One TD partners, RESL Home Owners Journey (HOJ) and the Channels leadership team.

Job Details

  • As a Manager, Initiative Delivery, you will lead the execution of initiatives for MMS, BMS, Broker and Credit Application Review Team (CART).
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Delivery, your accountabilities will include:
  • Initiative Delivery lead for SSF providing thought leadership and ownership of channel relationships with key stakeholders such as Home Owners Journey (HOJ), Branch Banking, Operations, and RESL Product on initiatives impacting the channel
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy.
  • Working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to align the intake process for SSF with existing enterprise level programs ie. NACC, Retails Branch Banking
  • Manage the intake process for all initiatives impacting MMS, BMS, Broker, and CART, driving informed business decisions with partners through initiatives assessments, prioritization and initiative management leading to optimal delivery including timing, frequency, and volume of change in the channel
  • Support the business in identifying and delivering against business projects and initiatives by executing project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan, working with business and various partners to develop the content of those deliverables
  • Identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required
  • Oversee the delivery of meaningful business communication, channel adoption and sustainment activities through a strategic communication roadmap, which includes both DaytoDay, Strategic Business updates and transformational changes, that align with business priorities for our MMS and Broker Channels
  • Provide thought leadership and facilitate key discussions that enables leaders within MMS, BMS, Broker, and CART to effectively manage change that realizes increased business benefits including integrated planning and support
