Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, specifically DMG Mori machines, to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs to ensure proper operation.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery, tools, or materials as needed.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a CNC Set Up Operator, preferably with expertise in DMG Mori Lathe operations.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and qualityfocused mindset.
  • Basic computer skills for machine programming and data entry.
  • Prior experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred.

Pay:
$23.00-$30.00 per hour
