REGISTERED NURSE

Bargaining Unit: OPSEU
Status: Full Time TEMPORARY
Department: Psychiatry Consultation
Site: St. Joseph's Health Centre
Shifts: Days
Rate of Pay: $ $56.00 per hour


Qualifications:

- Currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario with experience in psychiatric nursing
- Knowledge, skills and experience in: community assessment, psychosocial treatment and rehabilitation, crisis management and recovery
- Advanced skills in reasoning, problem solving, researching, decision-making and workload organization
- Advanced communication skills (verbal, nonverbal, written) and interpersonal skills
- Innovative and client-focused
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
