    Canadian Studies Program/Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences/Dalhousie University

    A part-time academic is required to teach CANA The Idea of Canada: Social and Political Perspectives, in Fall 2024/25 (September to December, The class is currently scheduled for In-Person instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays from The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation, and student consultation. The part-time academic reports to the Coordinator of the Canadian Studies program.

    Qualifications/Requirements of Position

    Candidates must possess a PhD in a Humanities or Social Sciences discipline with research and teaching experience in Canadian Studies or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate deep knowledge of Canadian history, society and culture.

    Salary Range/Pay Rate

    As per CUPE Collective Agreement
