Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of short-term planning for CHEP Supply Chain.
It aims at balancing inbound/ outbound, manage all type of inventory at sites through stock transfers, and insure no disruption in production.
Major/Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare weekly relocation plan for all regions in Canada to ensure inventory is balanced across 30+ service centers
- Translate input received from the optimization team to actionable plan
- Work and communicate with plants to ensure proper scheduling, proper storage capacity, and all types of inventories is available
- Manage network balancing for issues and returns to ensure inventory and flows are balanced across regions and plants
- Manage a team of inventory coordinators that oversee inventory movements in Canada
- Manage the execution of all flow movements to ensure right balance of inflows/outflows
- Collaborate with Optimization team to set SAP maxes based on plant and network needs
- Collaborate with Strategic planning to ensure proper scheduling of standing orders
- Manage Rail process and identify proper destinations
- Review and optimize plant schedules
- Work with Customer Care team to ensure proper execution of inbound/outbound plans
- Own and manage planning calls for all 3 regions in Canada with Ops and plant leaders
- Own communication with transportation within planning department and work with them closely to ensure coverage and optimize lanes/ cost
- Manage all aspects of holiday scheduling
- Use and create data/reporting to facilitate shortterm planning

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Analytics
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- SCMA Designation
- CSCP Designation
Experience
- 35 years related experience in supply chain industry
- Experience sensing and responding using data in an ambiguous environment
- Experience leading without authority, driving operational partners to achieve results
- Experience using data and analytics to drive decision making
- Experienced in presenting analytical results to cross functional partners
Skills and Knowledge
Required:
- Detail Oriented ability to build, maintain, validate, and analyze, large amounts of data
- Ability to analyze given parameters and adjust action plan accordingly
- Experience and understanding of Planning and Scheduling
- Strong Supply Chain Background and experience in fastpaced and complex Supply Chain
- Advanced expertise MS Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations
- Sense of urgency and a strong drive for results and execution
- Ability to prioritize and balance large number of inputs and priorities
Preferred:
- Six Sigma/Lean methodology
- Experience with Power BI
- Previous SAP experience

Responsabilités majeures/clés
Les responsabilités sont les suivantes:
- Préparer un plan de réinstallation hebdomadaire pour toutes les régions du Canada afin de s'assurer que l'inventaire est équilibré entre plus de 30 centres de services
- Traduire les commentaires reçus de l'équipe d'optimisation en plan d'action
- Travailler et communiquer avec les usines pour s'assurer qu'un calendrier approprié, une capacité d'entreposage appropriée et tous les types d'inventaires sont disponibles
