Part-time (20 hours per week) Payroll and Benefits Administrator


Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis (G-W WIC) is a dynamic, community-based, not for profit, feminist organization providing services to women and their children who are or have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking in Guelph and Wellington County.

We are seeking a Payroll and Benefits Administrator.

This 20 hour per week, part-time position, reporting to the Manager of Finance and Property will be responsible for the administration of Accounts payable, payroll and benefits for Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis.


Requisite Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in Accounting and/or Payroll or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in financial bookkeeping and payroll
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with financial administration in a Non-Profit environment a definite asset
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Welldeveloped time management abilities
  • Familiarity with societal issues regarding violence and abuse against women and children a definite asset
  • Understanding of antiracism and antioppression
  • Ability to access transportation when required to fulfill duties within Guelph and Wellington county.
  • Understanding of OHSA legislation

Employment Requirements:


  • Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check.
  • Valid driver's license and access to vehicle is essential.
